Juneteenth, the day of culture, pride, and the fact that Black Americans’ freedom was delayed but not denied.
This is the day we celebrate our ancestors’ ambition, joy, and the drive to not give up for the next generation.
Oh, it feels good to be Black.
It feels good to have Pride.
It feels good to have legacy.
It feels good to see what lies ahead for our community.
The past was not perfect, but we are building in the present so that the future can have purpose.
It’s 2026, but we are still in the beginning of greatness.
So Happy Juneteenth.
Let this be a reminder that Black Americans will continue to evolve, be great, and that the future is in our hands to create.
